🎓 Minimum Entry Requirements: Diploma in Midwifery (Direct)

To be admitted to the Diploma in Midwifery (Direct) training program, a learner must meet the following qualifications:

📘 Academic Qualifications

1. Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE):
   • Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
2. Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE):
   • Principal Pass in Biology
   • Two Subsidiaries in Chemistry or Physics
   • OR Pass in any other science subjects in the same sitting.
3. Equivalent Qualifications:
   • Possess an equivalent qualification that may be verified by the mandated accrediting body.

📝 Application Process

• Applicants must go through the official application process, either:
  • Through the Government admission system, or
  • Directly at the Institution (KIHS).
